Tbh I never understood Count Dooku’s reasoning concerning how he goes about «fixing» the galaxy. He complains about the Republic being unsalvageable because of the massive corruption and exploitation of the system and yet he chooses the ones mainly responsible for the situation as his primary allies. The entire Separatist council is full to the brim with the beings primarily responsible for the sorry state of the Republic to begin with. So either Dooku is a hypocrite or he was always lying.
