Ya wanna know how we know nobody gave 2 shits about the Clones?

Nobody asks what will happen to them when the war ends. Padme and others worked tirelessly to find a way to end the war but not once to my knowledge did they address this problem. I mean do they continue serving the Republic until they die with no other options? Do they get to retire? Where are they going to live? Kamino where they were born? It’s difficult enough for actual military members to adjust to civilian life, how hard will it be for someone who has literally lived their whole life in a military force? I mean I don’t see Padme offering them retirement homes on Naboo.

RIGHT. The only time someone asks what happens to the clones after, it’s the clones themselves, among themselves, and there’s no answer.

Exactly, and that’s why I hate Padme’s whole “the clones
cost too much money so let’s stop production, because that’ll stop the war! It’s
the clones fault :D” speech. She dehumanized them, made them scapegoats and
never once actually discussed what would happen to the clones after the war. Like
sure, by her definition maybe that would stop the war but what of the clones
who are still fighting? While she blamed their existence for lack of republic
money and the war, she never once actually brought up the fact that they were
slaves, forced to serve the republic against their will. Padme doesn’t see the
clones as actual people or individuals. Just tools she, the senate and the
jedi can use and blame for the war. She literally does not care if they have good living conditions, if they can
retire or if they are slaves bcs their lives after the war aren’t gonna affect
her. as long as she has enough money to buy pretty dresses then these people
that her republic has enslaved don’t matter to her.

Sorry lmao but I can go on for hours about padme and how she
treats and regards the clones as tools.
