On the subject of hate/abuse accounts:

Hello friends!

Talyn and I have now received several messages bringing hateful, abusive, and frankly, uncreative accounts to our attention, and I wanted to address this issue. Please, please, please just block these accounts as soon as you see them. I was very tempted to try and write a post that would wreck a certain user’s entire life, but I realized that that wasn’t the right course of action. These are pathetic, sad people who are desperate for any attention, and you can’t give that to them if this is how they’re going to try to get it– that’s why I’m not naming any specific accounts, because I won’t amplify their shitty shitty shit.

The best way to hurt these people back is for their garbage words to fall on deaf ears (eyes? Deaf eyes?). Ignore them. Block them as soon as you recognize one of these accounts. If all of their repetitive, dull, offensive posts are all sitting on their blogs with zero notes, then maybe they’ll realize that they’re the idiots.
