Step two: remember all your ideas for a late 50’s Codywan AU

Step three: decide to draw them sharing an umbrella because it’s raining outside and that would be cute

Step four: Realize this would involve drawing hats. Grumble about this but continue trying to draw it. Attempt to put Cody in a fedora, despite the fact that 50s fedoras are the worst. Redraw Cody’s entire head several times because you cannot figure out how to make that super tall shortish brim fedora look decent.

Step five: give up. Give Cody different, possibly anachronistic hat.

Progress. I don’t really like the colors exactly, but I’m tired and it’s not getting any better, so I’m calling it a night and hoping the problem is clearer tomorrow.
