The whole diamond industry is FAKE. I say this as someone who has worked in the jewellery industry.

Reminder that brown diamonds were basically worthless as jewelry and just used for industrial purposes, until someone decided to call them “chocolate diamonds” and make them expensive.

https://www.minerals.net/gemstone/zircon_gemstone.aspx is way cheaper, comes in a ton of very lovely colors and honestly?  to a naked eye is much sparklier  (at least to MY naked eye)

not to be confused with cubic zirconia which is a synthetic stone, Zircon is naturally occurring if you prefer natural stones to synthetic.  me, I actualy prefer synthetic stones – they are usually MUCH easier to work with and becasue they are cheap, if you mess up, replacing a stone is not as big of a deal.
