Yes, that last one is literally a religious icon of Mary breast-feeding baby Jesus. If it’s good enough for religious artists from hundreds of years ago it’s good enough for me.
Also, breast feeding was not only considered fine and dandy, it was looked at as necessary and beautiful for a woman to do in public because it meant she was nurturing and providing for a child that would inevitably become part of the next generation to rule the world. If she were to excuse herself and try to find the closest private area in order to feed a screaming infant, she was considered strange and overly modest, and even negligible for allowing the child to scream when its food was right there, ready for it.
As another point, at least in the USA, breastfeeding in public is legal in all fifty states (a new development and long overdue, but true nonetheless), so if you have a problem with a woman breastfeeding in public, it is literally not her problem and she can take you to court for causing civil disrest over her right to feed her child wherever she wants.
