Coruscant Guard Headcannons

brothers-all:

I’ve done a few of these but let’s go more eh?

The clone Guards on

Coruscant don’t have that much screen time, but let’s toss a few ideas around:

-They are the best at handling civilians (since they’re always around them) and certain Mercy Mission focus squads – like the Wolfpack – would go ask them for some tips and advice. It’s a trade secrete between all of them.

-They know Coruscant better than almost anyone else and are more than willing to help anyone navigate through it (be it civilians or brother) Sometimes, even a shinie would get lost.

-It a Rite of Passage to send new squads of rookies blindly into the city and see how they work around it. Should anything happen, the veterans step in instantly

-Some civilians, who’ve been saved or helped by them, would give the Guards small gifts, like sweets, trinkets or child drawings. They keep it all.

-They feel guilty for staying in a ‘safe place’ while most of their brothers are away on unknown planets risking their life. Sometimes they even think their brothers hate them.

-Each guard has at least one vibroblade on their person, be it for close combat, cutting chains/ropes or marking locations

-They refer to Coruscant as ‘The Forest’

-They are the some of the most fluent in different languages among clones

-They paint their armor red to stand out from the crowed. Either so civilians can find them more easily, or enemies will automatically aim at them instead of others

-They are the last to know of new developments outside Coruscant and rely heavily on news coming from their brothers (especially pilots)
