Man oh man, I’d love to know how the clones felt on Umbara, killing people instead of droids.

I’d love to know how Fives felt when he realized that this campaign was exactly like when the Separatists invaded Kamino. The Umbarans are just defending their home.

I’d love to know how Kix felt hearing pleas for help from dying Umbarans as he drags what brothers he can from the brink of death.

I’d love to know how much Jesse questions his undying loyalty to the Republic after this, and for days, weeks, even months afterward, he can’t help but stare at the tattoo on his face in disgust. (He eventually has it lasered off. Expensive, but worth it.)

I’d love to know exactly how broken Boil looked when he found out about Waxer. I’d love to know how he told Numa, if at all. Maybe he didn’t say a word, just sent her part of his armor as a ‘souvenir’ because he takes to wearing Waxer’s armguard in its stead.

I’d love to know how often Rex has nightmares about not pulling the trigger. Yet the ones where he does always seem to turn out worse. I bet he talks to Fives about it.

I’d love to know how Obi-Wan looked when he found out about Waxer, and Krell. All of it, really.

I’d love to know how Anakin looked when he came back from Coruscant to THIS. Whether he was mad or apologetic or that quiet, contemplative type of fury that says, “Krell is lucky he’s dead.”

I’d love to know how Ahsoka looked after hearing about all of this. Seeing the difference in everyone’s eyes, and firmly telling herself that she should have *been* there. She could have changed something. I feel like she and Hardcase were pretty good friends.

I’d love to know how the memorial for Hardcase went. Clones die all the time, but his death led to the capture of the Umbaran capital. *He’s a hero* I’d love to know how Fives and Jesse and Rex look when his sacrifice is attributed to Obi-Wan, or, even worse, Krell. (Like hell Palpatine would make it common knowledge that he was a traitor. At least, not until it could make the Jedi look especially terrible).

I’d love to know how Obi-Wan looks when he’s *congratulated* for being the General that took Umbara. Like he did it singlehandedly. Like it’s something he should be proud of.

I’d love to know what the hell happened to Dogma.

I’d love to know what people outside of the conflict said about it afterwards. Whether it was seen as a victory or inhumane. Whether the Jedi and the clones were lauded or blamed.

The Umbara arc is so much fun.
