  • echoy’aim: [ echoy – search/mourning | yaim – home ] diaspora, the feeling mandalorians have for missing a home they’ve never seen or that no longer exists, as many mando’ade are no longer born on mandalore prime and mandalore doesn’t exist in the same capacity or nation it once did
  • tor’atin: [ tor – justice | atin – stubborn/tenacious/capable of endurance ] the mandalorian value placed in fighting for a cause to your last breath if you think it is a just one or if it is for your home/family/clan, being persistent in a pursuit of justice for justice’s sake
  • arasuumiise: [ arasuumir – stagnate/remain the same | -iise – suffix to incline a group of people, esp. one in contempt ] stifling, often used to describe senators or the jedi – people unwilling to change, almost rotting. 
  • beskar’ta: [ beskar – mandalorian iron | kar’ta – heart ] beskar-hearted, having-a-heart-of-beskar, often used only to describe those who are marching far away, when talking about their achievements – in the few cases it is used for someone living, it is used after they have given everything/made a sacrifice to complete their goal
  • morut be’aliit [ morut – stronghold/haven | be’ – prefix meaning ‘of’ or ‘belonging to’, e.g. be’jetii: the jedi’s | aliit – family/clan ] the feeling of being genuinely safe when surrounded by family or clan, the trust you have in your family/clan to watch your back while vulnerable
