Can you write hcs about how Rex would react to his men (Jesse/Kix/Fives) getting hurt and vice versa <3

I think it’s pretty much a given that Rex cares a lot about ALL his men, and doesn’t like it One Bit to see them hurt, but for these three specifically…

Jesse:

– Rex isn’t even fucking surprised let’s be honest.
– He’s still worried for him, and makes sure to check in with him often while he’s in the medbay.
– He’s not overbearing like he would be with some of the younger troopers, because he’s been with Jesse a LONG TIME and he knows the man can handle himself. 
– Though when he’s out of the medbay Rex definitely goes with him drinking, just to welcome him back to the fold, in a sense.

Kix:

– It takes a small army to convince Kix that he is, in fact, injured, and can’t help others if he dies from his own injuries. 
– There have been a few separate occasions where Rex has had to physically wrestle Kix into a bed. 
– Once Kix is down, though, he relents and lets people treat him, though he /hates/ being the one in the bed. He’s not supposed to be the one in the bed. 
– Rex knows this, and makes sure to stick close to Kix all throughout his recovery. 

Fives: 

– Rex is particularly close to Fives, and worries about him a lot. 
– He knows Fives is reckless and headstrong, and Fives might be an ARC trooper but dammit sometimes he still behaves like a shiny and Rex will not stand for this idiot getting his head blown off because of some stupid heroic stunt. 
– Rex does his paperwork at Fives’s bedside, and gripes at him whenever Fives wakes up long enough to handle the berating. 
– In truth though, Rex is glad he’s alright, and rarely leaves his side.
