Do blaster shots make you bleed?

Because I’m still in denial mood about Fives, and in his death scene there’s no blood, so, is he truly dead?

Tbh any blood in Star Wars has ALWAYS confused me cause wouldn’t a blaster shot/lightsaber slice cauterize the wound? My dad and I have always questioned if they bleed out or just die of shock since it’s a huge shake to their nervous system (CAUSE YOU GOT A HOLE IN YA) thoughts???

I read that blasters aren’t hot enough to cauterize the wound, but a lightsaber will cauterize it, but it’s also so hot that it would “melt” your insides, which is a very painful way to die
