Meteorite survives museum fire
I know that being distant from the fact allows one to make such jokes but I really would appreciate if y’all could be kind enough not to make fun of a fire that destroyed a good chunk of Brazilian and Latin America’s historical art, documents, mummies, letters, etc. We’re never going to see these items again. Our culture and history was burned to ashes and I’m still crying over it as it‘s been only a week ago. Please don’t share this kind of thing. It’s not funny. It will never be.
Friendly reminder that this is a VERY serious issue. This is not only affecting Brazil, this is a had hit to Word History, everybody in this planet should be mourning for such a lost.
Brazilian government and administration should have prevented this from happening. But corruption has reached unthinkable levels, not only in Brazil but in all Latin America, and this must stop now. Authorities only care about gaining more money and power and don’t give a fuck about what’s happening in the streets, to the people they should be serving.
Government in most countries in Latin America are rotting inside because of corruption, but until now, the effects of it were only seen in their respective countries. But now, it’s a worldwide experience. Now all the world is seeing and paying the price of the results of corrupted governments here.
We just witnessed the loss of years of year of history and culture, this is NOT to be taken lightly.
People in all Latin America must join to take out corrupted authorities from their government, only then, we’ll make sure that something like this never happens again, only then, we’ll be able to turn Latin America into the best society we can ever be.
