He makes friends with Tup and Fives, only to have both of them die in a more mysterious way that he can’t make heads or tails of. He doesn’t know how to mourn, he doesn’t know what to think.

The one that breaks his heart the most is Kix. Kix, who disappeared without a goodbye, without a body to cry over. Jesse doesn’t know whether he’s dead or deserted, he just knows that he’s gone, his friend is gone.
