the oen thing that really makes me sad in aotc is like… there are some clear parallels between shmi and jango dying, and anakin and boba mourning them, and we see in tcw boba getting his revenge much in the same way anakin gets his on the tusken raiders ( though boba’s actually much more rational about it )

but like…

anakin gets to say goodbye. and he gets to have his revenge. and he doesn’t suffer any consequences for said revenge. boba doesn’t get a goodbye, and he doesn’t get his revenge, and he gets sent to prison at age 12 for it. 

and like – they’re both also similar in the way that they only have one parent. but shmi dies, and anakin has obi-wan and the jedi and ahsoka and padme and so on. and jango dies, and boba has no one. 

i just really want more justice for the kid.
