Day 1: A male character you see as asexual. 

I could have picked pretty much any clone for this, but I decided to do Kix because he is so special to me. I think I’ve loved him ever since he showed up in The Deserter. Like Rex, I don’t believe Kix ever really wanted a “normal” family, because he is so concerned for the family he already has. Kix keeps a lot of things to himself, he tries to either deflect or absorb all the death and pain he encounters as a medic, without letting it affect him, but of course that’s not always possible, and he occasionally lashes out (usually at the enemy as we saw on Umbara). His close friends are especially important to him, his closest family and partners on the battlefield being Hardcase and Jesse, followed by Rex. I think Kix loves those three more deeply than probably even he realizes. Added to his general compassion for the rest of the army, and his no-nonsense attitude toward watching out for their health… he is a powerful character. I just love him so much I’m getting teary-eyed just writing this.
