Five cadets at the beginning. Four at the end.

Hey isn’t that ep where Boba infiltrates the cadets chronologically soon after this? Or was it before, hence there being five and not six of them?

I JUST FUCKING REALIZED ITS THE BLOND ONE THAT’S GONE

I was having a little hope that he might be alive, but I just checked the chronological order  and the Boba episodes happened before this 😦

If the cadets we see in this episode are the same cadets as the ones in Death Trap, then the little blonde´s name was Hotshot and it´s very likely that he died there bc he was right next to Rex, Cody, Fives and Echo when the droids entered the barracks

We don´t see him again after this.

“On their way out they passed a knot of troopers, all carved from the same rock, all with the same broad shoulders and shielded faces, the same military bearing and polish. With surprising tenderness they cared for their defeated brother, and Obi-Wan wondered … The Nautolan’s tendrils lifted and Kit turned, seeming to read his mind. “Obi-Wan?” “For a moment I wondered if I had met him before.” “And?” “And I realized how foolish that thought was.” “Foolish?” Kit asked. “Yes. I’ve met every one of them.” True enough. Yet watching them caring for one of their own as if none of the witnesses existed, he wondered if he, or any outsider, really knew them at all.”

— The Cestus Deception, chapter II

Can I ask an hypothetical question? If Anakin would discover that one of the clones is in a secret relationship with a Jedi, do you think he would call them out, or would he keep the secret?

padawanlost:

No, he
wouldn’t tell. Anakin, above all else, was loyal. He’d consider such action a terrible
betrayal.

“For Anakin,” Obi-Wan said at length, “there is nothing more important than
friendship. He is the most loyal man I have ever met—loyal beyond reason, in
fact.
Despite all I have tried to teach him about the sacrifices that are
the heart of being a Jedi, he—he will never, I think, truly understand.” [Matthew
Stover. Revenge of the Sith]
