One of the reasons Fives is my favorite character is because we see his story from beginning to end. We don’t get that with any other character, even Ashoka because ultimately she lives through the clone wars and does other things but with everyone else there’s always a gap somewhere, something that happens that we don’t see. With Fives though, we get to see every major event that helps shape him, from Kamino to Rishi to the Citadel to Umbara and then back to Kamino and I think it’s wonderful

It is wonderful and it’s something that makes him such an interesting character!
And as far as I remember, we’ve only seen this with two other characters, Anakin and Obi-Wan. I think it’d closer to Obi-Wan’s story because we see him since he was a padawan, to Jedi master, to General, and finally Luke’s mentor.
We see Fives’ story since he was a cadet, to a shiny, to a trooper and an ARC trooper finally!
Fives’ character development is one of the best tbh. From screaming “Leave him” when Droidbait got hit during their final test, to somebody who cares deeply for his brothers and even gave his life trying to save everyone. From a insecure soldier, who’s still trying to find his true value (see the deleted scenes from “ARC troopers”), to a confident and brave ARC trooper, who was the first one to stand up to a corrupted and extremely dangerous General, and later, he was the first one to discover Palpatine’s plan and was really close to expose him!
When I say that I love Fives I’m not only saying because he’s pretty/handsome (and of course he is!), but I also say it because he really inspires me. As somebody who grew up being told “that’s just how things are, don’t question them, just accept them, you can’t change them”, seeing Fives do everything he did taught me a great lesson: to keep fighting, to keep improving myself, to stand up to corrupted authorities, to always speak up when things are wrong, to protect those who I care about, and so much more. That’s why he’s my absolute favorite character and he’ll always be.
