See!!! He did care! He might have not know how to act correctly in that situation, but he DID care!
I’m not sure about this, but I think that his body language, apart from showing sadness, also show guilt. Like he’s thinking that he could have done something else, and is blaming himself for not doing it.
And I say it again, Anakin is not good at showing his emotions, but HE DOES CARE. He looks defeated, sad, guilty, it seems like he’s not really paying attention to what the others are saying. He looks defeated, sad, guilty.
It’s a small scene, but this shows what many people here have been denying. Anakin did suffered with Fives death. And remember that Jedi are not supposed to show emotion, yet here Anakin does, even though he’s in middle of other Jedi.
And not only that, but you can also see the sadness is Shaak Ti’s eyes.
