The crows she feeds obviously have their own little lives. They go about their business, and they spot *pretty thing* or /unique thing/ in question. What gets me is that the *first* thing on their minds as recipient of this thing is the little girl that feeds them.
They spot a thing, and immediately must think, “that nice girl with delicious foodstuffs must have this to show my gratitude.”
It’s actually more than that, though, if you read the articles or watch the videos. This has taken place over YEARS- it started with these birds following this little girl around because she was a messy eater and it has turned into a ritual for the family. They have a water station and food stations where they daily set out things for these birds and sometimes (but not always), these birds leave ‘payment’ behind for the food.
BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE
These birds are not just taking food and leaving shinies. These birds are watching over this family now. Their lives have become involved. These crows are keeping track of this girl and her mother even when they are out of the yard. How do we know?
One of them is a photographer, and one day while she was photographing some stuff on a bridge, she dropped her camera’s lenscap over the edge. There was no way she could get it back, so she left it. When she got home, the lenscap was sitting on the edge of one of the feeding stations, waiting for her.
Not only were the birds following and watching over her, they were smart enough to realize she dropped an Important Thing and cared enough to bring it back to her.
Shadow might not belong in the order anymore but she’s still allowed to visit the temple and sometimes she sneaks out to where the kids are and tell them stories and might teach them that the Jedi aren’t the perfect ones they claim to be and promises them that when they’re old enough she would be happy to take them out of the order if they decide so but RotS had to happen and break our hearts.
sometimes it’s just really fucked up to be lgbt+ it’s fucked up that my identity is a “conversation” it’s fucked up that my identity is an “opinion” it’s fucked up that im told to accept people for having their own opinion even if their opinion is directly against my personhood it’s fucked up that in order to keep some friends and family i have to allow them to be “neutral” “iffy” or just straight up in my face homophobic about my identity it’s fucked up that when i call them out on it im told that im not being accepting of their opinions as if we’re on equal footing and I’m being the asshole it’s just all so fucking fucked up sometimes
I hate _% of people statistics being used like “oh it’s such a small number” cause 1% is a small number but 1% of 7 billion is 70 million. That’s more than the population of the UK, France or Italy.
6% of the US is 19 million, as stated above. There are only 3 states that have over 19 million people in them. 19 million is the population of the entire state of New York. That’s more than half the population of California.
Taking populations and turning them into percentages is okay until you try to say “oh that’s not a lot of people” but the reality is… That’s millions. That’s enough to be its own country. That’s fucking scary.
fun fact nonbinary ppl with boobs, nonbinary ppl who like their boobs, and nonbinary ppl who want boobs are cool and valid and just as nonbinary as ppl w flat chests and deserve to have a good time all the time
please reblog this its important
Non binary does not equal vaguely masculine
More accurately, nonbinary does not automatically mean white, thin, flat-chested and completely “androgynous”.
Nonbinary people don’t have a “look” because we can literally have any appearance. You might meet the most feminine person you’ve ever encounter in your whole life, and they could still be nonbinary.
I struggle with this shit all the time because, by society’s standards, my body is very female-presenting and it sickens me how most people wouldn’t even consider me as nonbinary.
