I love Fives as much as you do but honestly I thought this was going to be an appreciation blog for his butt. It is not. I am disappointed, but following anyway. :P
Lol yeah I think that’s what blog should be about. The truth is that this URL is relatively new? I changed it bc my best friend dared me to do it and I thought it was hilarious so I did. But I’ll try to post something about Fives’ butt as soon as I have to watch the series again!
Thank you for following!! ❤️
in math i use this thing called the guess and hope method
IMPERIALS WHO FOUGHT FOR THE REPUBLIC
When the Clone Wars began, Wilhuff Tarkin enlisted as a captain in the newly-formed and militarized Republic Navy, departing his role as governor of Eriadu and rejecting an overture from Dooku to join the Separatist cause. He’d previously worked with both the Jedi and then-Senator Palpatine and eventually rose to the rank of admiral. When the Republic transitioned into the Galactic Empire, Tarkin was formally made a Moff by Emperor Palpatine.
After his ascension to the rank of Jedi Knight, Anakin Skywalker became a general in the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars, commanding the 501st Legion of clone troopers. After pledging himself to Sidious and taking the name Darth Vader, he killed the entire Separatist leadership, effectively ending the Clone Wars. As the Emperor’s enforcer, he retained command of the 501st Legion, now stormtroopers, which soon became known as “Vader’s Fist”.
Prior to the Clone Wars, Wullf Yularen served as a captain in the Senate Bureau of Intelligence, assigned by Chancellor Palpatine to an anti-corruption unit. When the Clone Wars began, Yularen joined the Republic Navy as an admiral and was assigned to Jedi general Anakin Skywalker. After the war, Yularen resigned his commission to join the Imperial Security Bureau with the rank of colonel, where he worked to root out sedition within the Imperial Senate.
Am I wet? Am I on my period? Did I pee my pants?- next on wtf is going on down there.
I’m so glad this is a universal wondering among vagina-owners, haha.
‘Vagina-owners’
Tune in next time for: Are these menstrual cramps? Am I pregnant? Is it just gas? I wouldn’t have to ask these questions if I didn’t have a damn uterus
Next week: Is it a bladder infection? An ovarian cyst? Do I have endometriosis? Oh God please do not let it be cervical cancer! A 20/20 special
Y’all are forgetting the all-time classic: Is it just my period or is my appendix about to burst? Some nice tea and a heatpack or 911 and emergency surgery?
There is actually a test for that last one!
Place your hand over the pain, press down slightly and release. If the pain doesn’t change by any great margin, you’re fine. If it suddenly becomes some painful you can barely stand, Get thee to an Emergency Room
reblog for the safety of vaginas and their owners
The appendix test works with or without a vagina so reblogging for everyone.

replied to your post “Let’s say (this probably wouldn’t happen) but Obi-Wan somehow manages…”His execution might honestly be the best thing for everyone. The wound can be stitched once the knife is pulled out.
I think an
execution would be too traumatic for the witnesses (Obi-wan, Padmé, Ahsoka,
etc). It breaks my heart to say this, but I believe the best thing for Anakin (and
the galaxy) would’ve been for him to die killing Palpatine. It’s the least
messy outcome. I mean, if he turns back to the light AFTER Order 66 was
executed. Killing the Jedi younglings and padawans was the point of no return for
Anakin. The moment he does that he destroys himself and, judging by his face
during that scene, he knows it. it doesn’t matter if it’s Padmé or Obi-wan who
brings him back, the moment he goes through the Temple killings he destroys the
possibility of ever getting a happily ever after. Because even if the entire
galaxy forgives him, he would never be able to forgive himself to the point it would
no longer affects him. The rest of his life would be marked by what he did and I
don’t see him being able to live an idyllic happy life with his family and
carry that at the same time.Anakin is
fully aware of what he did and why he did. He can’t rationalize his actions as
Vader the way he rationalize the Tuskens slaughter.Again the
smile or snarl from his Master. “You
were a traitor, were you not, Lord Vader?” Vader’s breathing caught on the
hook of sudden anger. “What did you say?” “To
the Jedi. To Padmé. To Obi-Wan. To all those you loved.” His Master turned
to look at him, his eyes reflecting the flames. Vader didn’t know the answer
his Master wanted to hear, so he simply
answered with the truth. “Yes.” [Paul S. Kemp. Lords of the Sith]If Vader understands
this so would Anakin. Anakin shouldn’t get happy and peaceful after returning
to the light in this particular case because he didn’t deserve one. to ignore
everything he did as Vader would cheapen his journey. If murder doesn’t affect
him at all he is either a bad character or a bad person. There has to be consequences,
and Anakin’s actions require severe consequences.
Let’s say (this probably wouldn’t happen) but Obi-Wan somehow manages to turn Anakin back to the light during their fight in ROTS. What would happen next?
I don’t think it would happen either (not
without Padmé’s help). Obi-wan never tried to save Obi-wan, he went there to
kill him (he didn’t *want* to, but that’s what he was going to do anyway
because he was good jedi and a good jedi knows Yoda is never wrong :/). But,
for argument’s sake, let’s say Padmé convinces Anakin to come back to the light
before Anakin and Obi-wan start fighting. They would still have Sidious problem
in their hands. If they don’t manage to kill Palpatine, they
die (or spend the rest of their lives running). If they do manage to kill him
and prove Palpatine was a Sith Lord, Anakin is still screwed. Anakin coming
back to the light doesn’t automatically erased all the terrible things he did
in his short time as Vader. He killed A LOT of kids, the CIS learders, he
helped Palpatine to proclaim his Empire, he used the clones to execute Order 66
and he was Palpatine’s accomplice and second in command. Realistically, the
GFFA was so corrupt that Anakin getting away with it is a possibility, but even
if he does, the Jedi (and the public) would never forget or forgive him.Obi-wan would spend the rest of his life trying
to figure out where he went wrong with Anakin, probably blaming himself and struggling
to deal with the trauma of losing the Jedi order and all his friends.Anakin would be consumed by guilty. Here’s the
thing, Anakin shouldn’t get a happy ending because he is capable of “putting everything
behind him” and just go live his life happy with his new family, he is a
terrible person. if Anakin is a good person he will have to struggle with what
he did. He shouldn’t be able to just “let it go” and move on with this life. He
should spend the rest of his life trying to atone, facing what he did and
trying to be better.
Did Obi-Wan ever get a knighting ceremony? Or was Yoda telling him him the council’s given him the rank of knight in Naboo it? Like did he have to cut his own braid? What about Anakin? I heard somewhere that he was field knighted. So there was no formality, just «you’re a knight now» and back to work like Obi-Wan? He was knighted in 2003 tcw but I don’t know what’s the deal now with other media
I don’t
know. Obi-wan’s knighting was never described in details. we know we
happened
in Naboo and that he was knighted for killing Maul. That’s it. As far as I
know, these details like who cut his braid were never revealed. We know it happened somewhere between the moment Yoda informs him the Council allowed him to train Anakin and the Theed celebration. If I had to guess, I’d say
it was Yoda who cut it. It was the job of the Grand master to cut the padawan’s
braid during the Knighting Ceremony. Even if Qui-Gon had lived, he wouldn’t be
the one cutting it. If Yoda was unavailable, a member of the Council could do
it for him.
“On their way out they passed a knot of troopers, all carved from the same rock, all with the same broad shoulders and shielded faces, the same military bearing and polish. With surprising tenderness they cared for their defeated brother, and Obi-Wan wondered … The Nautolan’s tendrils lifted and Kit turned, seeming to read his mind. “Obi-Wan?” “For a moment I wondered if I had met him before.” “And?” “And I realized how foolish that thought was.” “Foolish?” Kit asked. “Yes. I’ve met every one of them.” True enough. Yet watching them caring for one of their own as if none of the witnesses existed, he wondered if he, or any outsider, really knew them at all.”

hot take: moms need to learn how to listen to and comfort their daughters without making everything about their own traumas
a classic example
daughter: hey this thing you do bothers me very much and i wish you wouldn’t do it
mom: well my parents abused me and im not even as bad as they were and i had to sit through it so you gotta sit through whatever i do to you too
a common variant
mom: well i’m having a really hard time right now and you know that i’m doing my best and that i didn’t mean to hurt you ergo you are in fact the asshole for asking me to consider your feelings and change my behavior during this hard hard time i’m having
